Standing Committees 2021-2022
The standing committees of the Board are principally responsible for steering the Council’s programs and priorities on behalf of the Governing Membership. Participation on these committees is the best way to connect with your colleagues from around the country, gleaning from their expertise and offering your own unique insight. Most committees meet once a month via conference call.

Addresses administrative issues related to HCH grantees and other health centers.
Advancement (formerly Membership & Development)
Chair – Maureen Neal
Staff Liaison – Andrea Crowe
Guides the development, communications, and membership functions of the Council.
Chair – Trish Grand
Staff Liaison – Melanie Harper
Develops annual budget, monitors expenditures, and authorizes personnel policies.

Staff Liaison – Regina Reed
Recommends public policy positions and coordinates advocacy on public policy issues.
The Policy Committee runs a subcommittee, the Homeless Mortality Data Workgroup, to share ideas and best practices of how localities carry out homeless mortality/death count work. For more information, contact Rachel Biggs.

Conducts and promotes research involving HCH projects and to improve policy and practice.
