Description: While stabilizing health is the primary purpose of recuperative care, social and emotional needs are also vital to clients’ wellbeing. This session explores the various ways programs are implementing peer mentorship and physical and social activities into their services — and how these activities improve behavioral issues and create a sense of community and belonging in the recuperative care setting.
