Outreach Worker Support Project

Outreach Worker Support Project in Tennessee

2023 – 2024

Outreach workers often represent the first step in connecting people experiencing chronic homelessness to the health care system. Recognizing the lifesaving role that outreach workers can fill for those who are unhoused, the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, in partnership with Meharry Medical College, is honored to support agencies that provide outreach services through grant funds to support non-clinical staff ongoing efforts to mitigate the effects of Covid-19 through street outreach.
