This issue of Healing Hands will take a closer look at family homelessness in the United States by examining some of the most common pathways into homelessness experienced by families. It will also share some considerations and best practices for health care providers and organizations working with families, children, and young people, with special attention to the types of community collaboration that are essential for supporting the family as a complex social unit, including collaboration with school districts and via School-Based Health Centers (SBHCs).
