In this issue of Healing Hands, we examine the spiritual and psycho- logical roots of their ability to cope with stress while creating and maintaining hope for clients, colleagues and themselves. In the midst of year-end pressures, we conducted interviews with ten HCH clinicians, practicing in different regions of the United States, and representing a variety of professional disciplines. We asked them to examine the internal and external sources of hope and inspiration that give meaning to their work with homeless individuals. We also asked them how they sustain and renew hope in themselves and others. Finally, we asked them to recommend resources for other homeless service providers.
