Consumer Experiences in Isolation and Quarantine

Isolation and quarantine programs are being stood up for people experiencing homelessness to recover from COVID-19 or reduce their risk of contracting the virus, with administrators working to establish best practices in informing clients about a potential move, determining how to provide support during quarantine, and how to discharge folks.

When making these decisions, it is important to ask those directly impacted what their needs are and work together to develop processes and structures that appropriately and respectfully meet those needs. In this coffee chat, we will hear from 2 individuals in isolation and quarantine units about their experiences and discuss how programs can elicit feedback from their isolation and quarantine units to improve the experience.
