Community Meet-Up on Racism and Oppression

Racism, violence, trauma, poverty, poor health, and homelessness: We know these are all related, and our spirit is heavy. Join us for an online gathering of the Health Care for the Homeless community to discuss how we can move forward in the midst of crisis.

This moderated community forum will allow us to express our individual and collective feelings about how racism impacts us, our clients, our families, and our communities. Please join us to strengthen our community and recommit to our fight for justice.

Presenters:

  • Lawanda Williams, MSW, LCSW-C, Director of Housing Services, Health Care for the Homeless, Inc., Baltimore, MD
  • David Peery, JD, Consumer Advisory Board, Camillus Health Concern, Miami, FL
  • Michael Durham, MTS, Technical Assistance Manager, National Health Care for the Homeless Council
