Founded in 1968, the Providence Community Health Centers (PCHC) network of community based, school based, and STD sites represents the oldest and largest primary care system in the State of Rhode Island. Its mission is to provide health care access to individuals who are medically underserved. PCHC continues to serve as the first point of health system access and the first line of defense for low income, ethnic minority, immigrants, and uninsured residents of Providence.

Services

Providence Community Health Centers Crossroads Rhode Island (CRI) health services program provides primary episodic, medical, dental, and behavioral health services to its homeless clients. These services are provided in a free-standing clinic located within the CRI multi-service center.
