Pillars Community Health is the result of a merger between Community Nurse Health Center and Pillars on January 1, 2018.  As an innovative health and social services agency, we are one of only a few nonprofits in the state of Illinois to integrate primary medical and dental care with behavioral health, social, and educational services. As a result, we are able to provide more comprehensive care to individuals and families in our communities. We anticipate the merger will also help us produce better outcomes for our clients and patients, as it means people with overlapping needs can find help for multiple issues in one place.

All of the services previously available to individuals and families from our legacy organizations are still available including primary medical services, preventative and restorative dental care, mental health and addictions treatment, domestic and sexual violence services, Head Start, Early Head Start, and child care, prevention/health education and outreach, and benefits assistance.
