The National Consumer Advisory Board (NCAB) Steering Committee is comprised of national leaders who are using their real-life experience to inform decisions about policies and practices at health centers across the country. Please nominate yourself or a peer with lived experience of homelessness who has participated in services at a health care for the homeless (HCH) program and has been involved in the governance of an HCH program. The NCAB Steering Committee includes a chair, two co-chairs, a peer advocate, 3 members at large, and 5 regional representatives. There are also 3 peer mentor positions, which are filled by individuals with previous experience on the Steering Committee who bring their practice wisdom to support the work of the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee helps NCAB achieve its mission to be a vehicle for people with lived experience of homelessness to be a collaborative voice on national issues of health care for the homeless.
