The National Health Care for the Homeless Conference & Policy Symposium offers an excellent opportunity for attendees to meet with their congressional representatives. This webinar will provide information on scheduling meetings, communicating with other conference attendees from their state who are interested in attending the meetings, and the suggested policy issues to be discussed.
Additionally, grantee experiences with legislative visits, the implications of potential policy changes in Washington, and strategies for having an effective meeting will be presented.
NHCHC staff will partner with conference attendees who are familiar with legislative meetings to schedule and coordinate meetings for other attendees, and the health policy organizer will be available for the six weeks prior to the conference for further support.
