People who lack stable housing face numerous barriers that hamper diabetes management.
As HRSA-supported health centers focus on improving the screening and treatment of patients with diabetes, it is important to identify and disseminate promising practices in diabetes management for those experiencing homelessness. This guide highlights five registered dietitians serving in different health care settings sharing their personal experiences, challenges, strategies, and solutions.
