Gender diversity is a social determinant of both health and housing. Trans homelessness has increased 113% since 20163 and trans individuals disproportionately experience unsheltered homelessness, further exacerbating health inequities that exist among this population. As such, gender-affirming care is an important component of Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) services.
This annotated bibliography provides a summary of the literature at each intersection of the following domains: Trans Identity, Homelessness, and Gender-Affirming Care.
