RCPN ‘Trailblazer in California Recuperative Care’ Award - Submit Your Nomination Now! - National Health Care for the Homeless Council

The Respite Care Providers’ Network (RCPN), a membership network of the National Health Care for the Homeless Council, is proud to honor the outstanding work of one influential leader in the advancement of recuperative care services in California.

Nominations for the very first RCPN Trailblazer in California Recuperative Care Award open on June 20, 2024. Please nominate yourself or a colleague by filling out the nomination form. The deadline for nominations is July 24, 2024.

The recipient of the trailblazer award will be selected based on the following criteria:

Nomination demonstrates the nominee’s innovative, bold and creative approaches to the delivery of recuperative care services
Nomination identifies the nominee’s specific accomplishments and contributions to the practice of recuperative care in California
Nomination illustrates the nominee’s influence on the advancement of the broader recuperative care landscape in the state
Nomination demonstrates how the nominee “paved the way” for long-term best practices in recuperative care

Please note: Self-nominations will be asked to provide at least one letter from a client or colleague supporting the nomination. This can be submitted as an attachment to the online nomination form OR via email to tbieloh@nhchc.org after the nomination form is submitted.

The RCPN Trailblazer in California Recuperative Care Award will be presented September 12, 2024, at the inaugural California Recuperative Care Symposium in Sacramento, during an Award Luncheon. In addition to a physical award, the 2024 recipient will receive:

One registration to the 2024 California Recuperative Care Symposium
A complimentary room for two nights at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West (Sept. 11 and 12, 2024)
Recognition in the Symposium’s program and on the Council’s website and social media
The opportunity to share their successes and best practices with their peers in recuperative care!
