With 10 primary care clinic sites, Mercy Care is a medical home to thousands who want high-quality, comprehensive affordable healthcare services. Mercy Care proactively builds trust with Atlanta’s most vulnerable through outreach programs. These programs lead to more preventive care, housing, improved quality of life and reconnection to family and support networks. As a result, non-essential emergency room visits are reduced throughout Atlanta’s hospitals.

Services

Adult primary medical care including integrated behavioral health, preventive care and management of chronic disease such as diabetes or heart disease;
• Pediatric primary care including sick and well
visits, sports physicals, immunizations, and
asthma treatments;
• Psychiatry for adults, adolescents, and children;
• Dental and vision care for adults and children;
• Health education center with teaching kitchen;
• Mammograms and cervical cancer screening;
• Laboratory;
• X-ray and ultrasound;
• Medical and dental care for people living with
HIV/AIDS;
• Pharmacy;
• Case management;
• Help with housing for homeless and other social services;
• Pastoral care

Linkages

Referrals and ancillary services are provided at Grady Memorial Hospital and other local hospitals and mental health centers. Mercy Care has a close working relationship with Emory Saint Joseph’s Hospital for referrals and has established many informal relationships with physicians who provide pro bono or low cost services.
