Services
Primary care medical services comprise the bulk of services rendered. Augmenting these services are participation in Title X (Family Planning), Title XV (Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program), Vaccines for Children, on-site substance abuse treatment, and smoking cessation counseling. STI/HIV screening and treatment is available as well as enabling services by a social worker, nutritionist, and other support staff. Other services, such as dental, are provided through referral within Ingham County’s Community Health Center Network.
Linkages
Networking with a local neighborhood center has yielded improved access to health care. Involvement with Michigan State University (MSU) Extension service offers a referral source to assist with chronic disease management. Attending physicians from MSU provide volunteer after hours medical services and limited access to specialty care on-site.
