The Council is proud to announce that our updated Health Care for the Homeless 101 curriculum is now live on our Learning Management System!
Through engagement with this 11 module interactive course learners will:
- Gain a clear understanding of the context of modern homelessness and its effect on health;
- Be able to detail the core characteristics of Health Care for the Homeless model of care;
- Explore ways to get involved in the movement to end homelessness.
Each module is designed to take approximately 45 minutes to complete, creating an 8.5-hour learning experience. Learners can earn a Certificate of Completion upon earning a score of 80% or higher on a final assessment.
This course is free and excellent for those who are interested in the work of the Health Care for the Homeless (HCH) community, those who are new employees in an HCH Health Center, or those who are wanting to explore the current landscape of the HCH community.
