The Health of LGBT People: Ending Disparities, Ending Invisibility

This webinar will describe health disparities found among lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and some of the factors that influence these disparities. Participants will learn strategies for taking a sensitive history with LGBT people, ways of inquiring about and being supportive of a patient’s sexual orientation and gender identity, and resources and trainings available from the National LGBT Health Education Center (The Fenway Institute, Fenway Health).
