Self-Care: A Lived Experience Perspective

Are you a person with lived experience of homelessness/lived expertise who is a passionate advocate for human rights and justice for people experiencing homelessness? The work is vital—AND it is ongoing with demands that can be all-consuming and overwhelming. Self-care is extremely important for wellness and to avoid burnout. Please join the Ellen Dailey Advocacy Committee for a Community Conversation with Myra Nagy, Paul Tunison, and Dontae Latrigue—fierce advocates with years of experience balancing the demands of advocacy work with caring for their wellbeing. This will be an interactive “help for the helpers” event, so please bring your questions and be prepared to share lessons from your own work.
