Post-COVID Conditions (PCC) Toolkit for Health Care Professionals from Americares

Nearly half of Americans with post-COVID conditions (PCC) turn to their doctors for guidance. At NHCHC and Americares, we understand the critical role you play and the challenges you may face in staying current on this evolving field. We're here to support you with the latest resources and learning opportunities to confidently diagnose, treat, and manage your patients with PCC.

To address this need, NHCHC is proud to partner with Americares to help distribute their newly developed educational materials for health care professionals:

  • Unmask the Facts: Post-COVID Conditions Monthly Research Roundup - Unmask the Facts is a monthly research round-up which synthesizes and summarizes some of the most talked about research into PCC, providing providers with a concise and up-to-date overview of the latest findings.
  • PCC Resources - These posters (available in PDF format) and other resources include information about relevant research organizations, patient support groups, a conversation guide, a symptom refresher, and more. These will allow you to easily access the latest PCC research and connect your patients and care providers with valuable information and support.
  • Online Learning Series: Diagnosing & Treating PCC - Feeling lost on diagnosing or treating PCC? Join us to learn more! Americares has partnered with ECHO Chicago at the University of Chicago to offer an online learning series about PCC tailored especially for primary care providers in the safety net sector. You can register for the series here, view the schedule of upcoming sessions online here, and access session recordings below.

We kindly invite you to share these resources with your extensive network of health care professionals. By working together, we can close the knowledge gap and ensure patients receive the support they need.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

Thank you for your continued partnership in building healthier communities!
