Neighborhood Health Association – Mildred Bayer Clinic

Neighborhood Health Association (NHA) administers the Senior Service Center and operates 14 community health centers, which include adult health, dental, women health, pediatrics and Mildred Bayer Clinic for the Homeless.

•HIV testing and counseling
•Flu shots
•Blood sugar checks
•Blood pressure checks
•Pregnancy tests
•24-hour nurse triage
•Prescription assistance
•Pharmacy services
•On-site vision center (diagnosis and glasses)
•Transportation available for medical-related appointments
•Personal hygiene kits and change of clothes
•Private restroom and shower facility
•Social services


Linkages include shelters, transitional facilities, chemical dependency programs, mental health facilities, Toledo Area Alliance to End Homelessness and Greater Toledo Continuum of Care.


Estimated homeless population: 3,400
