Regional Conversations Aim to Capture Consumer Experiences During Disasters

The National Health Care for the Homeless Council, in conjunction with the National Consumer Advisory Board Steering Committee, is holding regional conversations to learn from individuals with lived experience of homelessness about the best ways to support unhoused individuals in the event of an environmental emergency and subsequent disaster relief efforts.

These conversations, to be held via Zoom, will be highly interactive and will invite participants to share stories about how they and others with lived experience of homelessness have provided support to people currently experiencing homelessness in their communities during an environmental emergency.
