Ingham Community Health Centers offer a range of services from women’s health care, primary health care, pediatric health care, behavioral health care, school-based/linked health care, homeless health care and dental care. Our Health Centers are conveniently located throughout City of Lansing and are on the CATA bus routes.  Ingham Community Health Centers  were awarded Leader in LGBTQ Healthcare Equity status in 2017 through the Human Rights Campaign’s Health Equity Index.

Services

Primary care medical services comprise the bulk of services rendered. Augmenting these services are participation in Title X (Family Planning), Title XV (Breast and Cervical Cancer Control Program), Vaccines for Children, on-site substance abuse treatment, and smoking cessation counseling. STI/HIV screening and treatment is available as well as enabling services by a social worker, nutritionist, and other support staff. Other services, such as dental, are provided through referral within Ingham County’s Community Health Center Network.

Linkages

Networking with a local neighborhood center has yielded improved access to health care. Involvement with Michigan State University (MSU) Extension service offers a referral source to assist with chronic disease management. Attending physicians from MSU provide volunteer after hours medical services and limited access to specialty care on-site.
