Thursday, May 17: Awards Lunch

The National HCH Council and its membership groups honored award winners at the #HCH2018 Awards Lunch on May 17, 2018.

Awards and scholarships presented included the Philip W. Brickner National Leadership Award, Karen Rotondo Award for Outstanding Service, Ellen Dailey Consumer Advocate Award, Willie J. Mackey National Medical Respite Award, and John N. Lozier Scholarship for New Members. Note: due to an audio issue, video of the Medical Respite Award presentation is unavailable.

John Parvensky, President and CEO of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless, delivers an inspiring speech upon receiving the 2018 Philip W. Brickner National Leadership Award at the #HCH2018 Awards Lunch.

Held at the close of #HCH2018, the “Health, Housing, & Humanity” Rally on May 17, 2018, called for a realization of social justice and permanent housing solutions.
