2026 Call for Nominations

The National Consumer Advisory Board (NCAB) Steering Committee is comprised of national leaders who are using their real-life experience with homelessness to inform policies and practices at health centers across the country.

We invite you to nominate yourself or someone else who has lived experience of homelessness, has participated in services at a health care for the homeless (HCH) program, and has been involved in the governance of a health center.

The NCAB Steering Committee has a Chair, two Co-Chairs, a Peer Advocate, three Members-at-Large, and five Regional Representatives.  There are also three Steering Committee Mentor positions, held by former Steering Committee members who share their knowledge and support the group.

Together, the Steering Committee helps NCAB fulfilling its mission: to provide a national platform for people with lived experience of homelessness to work together to address health care for the homeless issues.
