Daily Planet Health Services’ Community Medical Respite program provides short-term convalescent supervision for adults being discharged from hospital stays or identified in the community as not being able to stay in the emergency shelter system due to medical conditions that warrant a higher level of care.

Reston
Fairfax County’s MRP is a 30 day program consisting of 5 beds (4 male, 1 female) in an already existing 70 bed homeless shelter. The beds are dedicated for homeless clients with an acute medical condition from which they have to recuperate.
