This Medical Respite Program at Pinellas Hope provides a safe place for medical and recuperative care after hospitalization for homeless persons discharged from St. Anthony and Morton Plant Mease Hospitals. These persons, while ready for hospital discharge, have not recovered enough to return to the streets, do not have family or friends to provide care and do not require further hospitalization or skilled nursing facility care.
