District of Columbia

Washington
Christ House opened in December 1985 as the first residential medical facility for homeless patients in the United States. Our mission is to provide comprehensive and compassionate health care to sick, homeless persons in the District of Columbia, and to assist them in addressing critical issues to help break the cycle of homelessness.

Washington
Since 1990, Joseph’s House has provided a warm home and a welcoming community to very ill and dying homeless people in Washington, DC. We have built a solid reputation as a key component of the health care and housing safety nets for people living with HIV and for those with terminal cancer.
