Health Care for the Homeless Day, August 12, 2009The second week of each August is Health Center Week, and the Wednesday of that week - August 12 in 2009 - is Health Care for the Homeless Day.We encourage HCH projects to mark the day with public and private events that celebrate the good work being done in every community, and that call attention to efforts to break the deadly links between ill health and homelessness.
